Valentines' Nite 2007 Dance Video

Valentines' Nite 2008 on 16th February is an event that is open specially for students from Form 3- 6. The theme for this event is Everlasting Love. Simply because God's love for us is never ending and it last forever. Even in our life, we love one another & it will last and live on from generation to generation. In this event, we will have a presentation from a band, love story from a couple about their experiences in their love life, ups and downs & so much more. Dances will be taught and we will be glad if everyone will join us for this wonderful and fun time dancing. 60's & simple ballroom dance will be taught and everyone will dance together as a group. The dress code for this event is casual and presentable as you are comfortable with but bear in mind this event is NOT a prom. Refreshment will be provided only at the end of the programme. Kindly take your dinner before the event. So, COME, and BRING your friends along and take home with you FUN, LAUGHTER and COOL DOORGIFTS.

What is Love

^{4 Love is patient and is kind; love does not envy (a feeling). Love does not brag (feeling of self-gratification or vanity), is not proud (feeling of self-gratification or vanity),
5 does not behave itself inappropriately (the result of "Self"-centered emotion), doesn't seek its own way (self-fulfilment), is not provoked to anger (a negative emotion), takes no account of evil (not impressed by human vanity. Whereas "Love" is God-centered. God IS Love).
6 does not rejoice in unrighteousness (a negative emotion of power), but rejoices with the truth (a positive result of "Love");
7 bears all things (is selfless and humble), believes all things (seeks righteousness), hopes all things (not an emotion, but an attitude), endures all things (not an emotion, but is Spiritual control). Although "True Love" itself is not an emotion, an " Act of Love" may result in "Righteous Rejoicing" which is (truly) the only positive emotion. However, do not forget that "Righteous Rejoicing" is still not "Love" but a resultant of "Love."
"Love" can actually appear to be a harsh act (without emotion), as with proper (not harmful) spanking or chastisement. Do we not know that Yahweh spanks, chastises and punishes those He loves?

The True Meaning Behind Valentine’s Day

Despite the cost of the beautiful red roses, expensive dinners and the gaining of pounds from eating too much chocolate, Valentine's Day is an occasion to prove your eternal, everlasting love to your sweetheart. Or is it not?

To single peers, this year could be an occasion not even worth trying to remember, by denying the existence of love altogether because their most beloved, took off with a hunky blond bodybuilder at a White party. Whether you're crazy in love, or happy to finally be rid of the old ball-n-chain, listen up to some of these important facts that'll help you understand what the real Valentines is all about.

Valentine was imprisoned under Claudius II for his Christian beliefs, and while in jail, he restored the sight of his jailers' blind daughter through his faith and love for her. Before his execution, on the Feb.14. AD 269, Valentine sent her a note signed "From your Valentine." This phrase became the everlasting symbol of friendship, affection and sharing with others.

In 1537, Henry VIII, who had more cause than most for sending a Valentines note, established Feb.14 as St.Valentine's Day by Royal Charter, but it wasn't until printing techniques started to develop that the exchange of illustrated paper that Valentine's Day began to develop as we know it today.

So whether your madly in love or relieved to finally be rid of your so called 'burden,' take heed of the legend of St. Valentine's, and join the celebration of this sometimes incredible, sometimes obnoxious occasion.
